Our customers present – ​​ThermoCut PRO foam cutter

The machine has been used since September 2022 to cut polystyrene in the production work of a pilot project. The company's activities also include the versatile utilization of geothermal energy, within which polystyrene is now used to create a dog house operating on the patented principle of geothermal heating and cooling. Interestingly, here polystyrene is not an external insulation material, as is usually the case in the construction industry, but the wall of the building itself, which is stabilized and protected from external influences with sheet metal cladding.

Managing director Zoltán Konyári summarized their experiences with the foam cutter:

For this project, we were looking for a machine that would cut polystyrene efficiently with tenths of a millimetre precision and computer control. While searching online, we found Digit among several companies offering similar machines, and we purchased the machine from there.

They were friendly, the technical information was correct, and the ThermoCut MINI was a good value for money. As he said, they started the purchase with three main expectations: they were looking for high cutting accuracy, computer control, and long-term reliability.

According to Zoltán Konyári, these expectations were fully met in the nearly two and a half years that have passed, although they have worked with it a lot, the machine has not needed servicing, it cuts precisely, works reliably, and can be used in many ways.
